TERMS & CONDITIONS (GLOBAL)

These Terms apply to all orders placed on Reininga.art.
If your shipping destination is in the EU/EEA or the UK and you are a consumer, the EU/EEA & UK Consumer Addendum below also applies.

Products
Reininga Art sells original and editioned photographic artworks, including limited editions, unique works and selected monumental editions.
Unless stated otherwise on the product page, our artworks are produced as acrylic face-mounted prints on Dibond.
Product images are shown as accurately as possible. Color, brightness, and contrast may vary depending on your screen and lighting conditions.
Editions, authenticity, and COA
Where applicable:
- Edition type (original / limited / open) is stated on the product page.
- Limited edition size is stated on the product page.
- A Certificate of Authenticity (COA) is included with eligible artworks.
- Signing and numbering (where applicable) are provided on the COA.
Made-to-order production
We do not keep stock. Most products are produced one-by-one after you order.
Estimated production time: 1–3 weeks (estimate)
Custom sizes or personalized products may require additional production time. We will confirm any such timeline in writing.
Prices, VAT, and duties
All prices are shown in EUR or USD and include VAT where applicable.
Unless stated otherwise, prices for artworks include professional packaging and worldwide shipping.
For deliveries outside the EU, local import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees may apply and are the customer’s responsibility.
Ordering and contract formation
A purchase contract is formed when we send an order confirmation email.
We may refuse or cancel an order in cases such as obvious pricing errors, suspected fraud, unauthorized payment, delivery restrictions, or practical impossibility to fulfill the order. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
Payment
Payment methods are shown at checkout and may include providers such as Mollie, PayPal, and Klarna, as well as supported card and local payment options.
Payment must be completed before production begins.
We do not store full payment card details. Payments are processed by your chosen payment provider.
Delivery
We ship packaged for art, with tracking and insurance where available.
Estimated shipping (transit) time: 1–4 weeks (estimate)
Estimated total delivery time (production + shipping): 2–7 weeks
Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays, peak periods, weather, or customs processing.
Incorrect address and failed delivery
Please check your shipping address carefully at checkout.
If a shipment is returned to us due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, missed delivery attempts, or refusal of delivery, we may charge additional shipping costs to reship.
Damage on arrival
If your order arrives damaged, email studio@reininga.art within 48 hours of delivery and include:
- your order number
- photos of the outer packaging, shipping label, and damage
We will propose a fair remedy: replacement (where possible), repair, or refund depending on the situation.
Defects, wrong item, or non-conformity
If you receive the wrong item or notice a defect, email studio@reininga.art within 7 days of delivery and include your order number, photos, and a short description.
This does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Returns and refunds (overview)
Return rights depend on destination and product type.

- Outside EU/EEA/UK: voluntary returns may apply only for certain product categories (see “Outside the EU/EEA/UK” below).
Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded by law.
Outside the EU/EEA/UK: voluntary returns (summary)
If your shipping destination is outside the EU/EEA/UK:
A) Small Goods (posters, books, frames, accessories)
We offer a 30-day voluntary return window from delivery, subject to:
- items must be unused and undamaged
- original packaging (or equivalent protective packaging)
- customer pays return shipping
- original shipping costs and duties/taxes are not refundable by us
B) Acrylic Works (originals, limited editions, open editions)
Outside the EU/EEA/UK, Acrylic Works are final sale because they are produced to order, except where the item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect.
Custom sizes and personalized products
Custom sizes and personalized products are made specifically to your specifications.
Where permitted by applicable law, these orders are final once production begins.
If you request a custom size or personalization, we will confirm details and any specific terms in writing.
Cancellation before production (voluntary)
If you need to cancel, email studio@reininga.art as soon as possible.
We offer a free cancellation window within 24 hours of ordering, or until production begins (whichever comes first). If production has started, cancellation may not be possible.
For EU/EEA/UK consumers, this does not affect statutory withdrawal rights after delivery, where applicable.
Intellectual property
All website content, product photography, text, and images are protected by intellectual property rights. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content commercially without written permission.
Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss where such limitation is permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or limits mandatory consumer rights.
Privacy and cookies
We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We use cookies and similar technologies as described in our Cookie Policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
If you are a consumer, you may also benefit from mandatory protections of the law of your country of residence, where applicable.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order.

EU/EEA & UK CONSUMER ADDENDUM (RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL)
This addendum applies if your shipping address is in the EU/EEA or the UK and you are buying as a consumer.
A) 14-day right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the day after delivery, without giving a reason, unless a legal exception applies.
B) How to withdraw
Email studio@reininga.art within 14 days and include your order number and a clear statement that you wish to withdraw.
C) Return deadline and address
After you notify us, you must send the goods back within 14 days.

D) Return shipping costs
You pay the direct costs of return shipping, unless we explicitly agree otherwise.
E) Refunds
We refund within 14 days after being informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back, or until you provide proof of return shipment.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
F) Handling and diminished value
You may inspect the goods as you would in a store. If handling goes beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods, we may deduct diminished value.
G) Exceptions (custom/personalized)
Where a legal exception applies (for example, goods made to your specifications or clearly personalized), the right of withdrawal may not apply. If an exception applies, we will state this clearly on the product page and at checkout.
